The Yuba City Steel bulk sampling unit was designed and developed in 1969 in conjunction with the Agricultural Department at the University of California at Davis. Since that time there have been continual design improvements to accommodate the unique sampling requirements that occur with different types of fruits and vegetables.

The Yuba City Steel bulk sampling system is used throughout the world and has proven to be enormously successful in sampling applications for grapes, tomatoes and other produce products.
